BettrTracker is a self-improvement app built by a small team of EU-based developers, operating out of Bulgaria. We created this platform because of our own experiences with lack of motivation, discipline, and mental clarity. We've struggled with mental health and staying consistent, and we wanted to build something that could have helped us in the past — and now, to help others like us.
We are not psychologists, doctors, or licensed mental health professionals. We do not offer therapy, treatment, or diagnosis. BettrTracker is not a replacement for professional medical advice. It is a personal tool for reflection, growth, and mindfulness — created by people who simply care about self-development. We believe it can be a powerful extra step in your journey, but it should be used alongside real-world support systems, not instead of them.
By accessing or using BettrTracker, you agree to these terms. You may not engage in any activity that disrupts, compromises, or attempts to reverse-engineer the platform. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, without prior notice, if we believe the user has violated our terms or endangered the community.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BettrTracker and its creators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of this platform.
Users are responsible for providing a valid and accessible email address when creating an account. If a user enters an incorrect or fake email, they may not receive important legal, account-related, or privacy updates. BettrTracker is not responsible for missed communications resulting from invalid contact details.
We collect and process your data to provide, maintain, and improve the functionality of the app. The types of data collected include your email, username, journal entries, AI-generated scores, basic geographic location (city-level), and device/browser metadata. This data is used strictly to support your growth and maintain the service. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising without consent.
All data is stored securely on servers hosted by third-party infrastructure providers, including facilities in the United States. These hosting providers are internationally recognized and comply with major global security frameworks. We are not affiliated with any government or political organization, and we are not backed or influenced by any state agency. BettrTracker is fully independent and privately operated.
We store journal entries and user account data indefinitely unless deletion is requested by the user.
BettrTracker complies with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the UK Data Protection Act, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA, Canada), the Privacy Act 1988 (Australia), Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), and relevant platform privacy policies (Google, Apple, Microsoft).
By using the journal feature, you give your explicit consent to the processing of any sensitive information you voluntarily include, for the purposes of self-reflection and feedback.
By continuing to use BettrTracker, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this policy. Your continued use of the platform constitutes active and informed consent to data processing as described.
We make every reasonable effort to comply with international data protection standards, including those not listed explicitly here, in countries where we operate or expect future presence.
Our scoring and feedback features use artificial intelligence (AI) via OpenAI’s GPT models. AI is applied solely to your journal content and is never used for advertising or profiling. Your personal identity is not exposed to the AI. The sole purpose of AI scoring is to offer daily feedback and motivation based on your own writing.
AI scoring and analysis are only applied to entries written in the AI Journal — the journal box labeled “What did you do today?”. This feature is designed purely for motivational feedback and habit reflection. The AI does not analyze personal identity or profile users.
AI-generated insights are not intended for medical, psychological, or therapeutic use. They are for general insight and self-reflection only. Do not use these scores to make health, diagnostic, or treatment decisions.
In accordance with GDPR and similar laws, you may request to:
Please note: At this time, journal and score data cannot yet be downloaded. This feature will be available soon. Users will soon be able to export their data in .txt or .json format in compliance with international data portability rights.
A password reset system is also under development and will be added in a future update.
To submit a request, email us at your@email.com. We aim to respond within 14 days, and always within the timeframe required by applicable data protection laws.
BettrTracker is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. By using this service, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement. This condition complies with global standards, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), GDPR Article 8, the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and equivalent age protection provisions in Canada, Australia, and Japan.
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect user data. These include password hashing using industry-standard algorithms, secure HTTPS transport, and database-level access controls. Admin access is limited and monitored. We do not publish or disclose specific technical infrastructure to maintain system integrity and prevent abuse.
We follow recognized best practices aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 principles, including user access restrictions, monitoring, risk assessment, and data integrity safeguards. While we are not a certified ISO entity, we design our system with these standards in mind to support future educational partnerships and institutional use.
BettrTracker is a personal improvement tool. It is not intended as medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. It does not provide diagnosis or treatment. By using this platform, you acknowledge that it is created by individuals with personal interest in self-development, not medical professionals. You agree not to rely solely on this platform for any health-related decision-making.
